  • hello.

    did you guys miss me?

besides looking like a friggin raccoon now (getting sun burnt with huge ass sunglasses on is not cool.. the burn has rolled over into a tan.. so half my face looks like i haven't washed it in years).. san francisco was pretty fun. it's basically a larger seattle. i have a crapload of pictures to post.. that will come later.. i just got back into town last night and i'm pooped. i think i've gained at least 15 pounds from this trip.. grubbed on some very delicious food.. saw some eh.. unusual things. h&m is now favorite store. damn, i wish they had one up here. talk about a bargain.. we went there a second time to purchase more clothes.. that westfield mall is gigantic.. now that's what you call a mall. china beach was gorgeous.. and what the hell?! $3.77 for gas?? and i'm whining about paying $2.75 a gallon.. dizam. oh yeah.. in-n-out does not have the best burgers.. good gracious.. i couldn't understand what all the fuss is about.. tasted like a regular burger to me.. i much prefer a whopper.. =P

from getting lost in golden gate park trying to find the damn japanese tea garden -- a place we could have easily visited here..  to meeting the "holy, sacred" tibetan man.. to getting bitched out in chinatown (that place is huge).. oooh weeee, it was a memorable experience to say the least..

i guess it's really not where you are.. but who you're with that makes it all worth while.. special..

and now i'm back in the office.. sigh. i'd love to just drop everything, pack a backpack.. and travel around the world.. one can only dream..

  • lucky you!  glad to hear you had a relaxing time away.

    raccoons are hot.

  • the great thing about In N Out is probably the secret menu. I finally ordered a 4x4 and animal fries. they were awesome.

  • i miss in N out so much. Hope you got them burgers animal style :)

  • only 2.75 for gas?!?!?
    i hate you

  • when i came back from my vacation, i came home to a flooded house. talk about a bad beat.

  • blasphemy, in&out pwns whooper

  • $2.75 for gas!? I haven't seen it under $3 a gallon in a LOOOONG time.

Glad you got some time away -- I missed you, though. Welcome back. :]

  • what the f? $3.77 per gallon!?!? when did that ever happened!?!? and in-n-out burgers are just too hyped out .. i agree ... did u check out Japan town? that was freakin' cool... anywho, hope you had tons of fun ... ;)

  • You didn't have the full In-N-Out experience.

The 3x3 animal style with animal style fries and a neopolitan shake is where the happy is at.

  • california gas is suppose to be higher because california treats its gas w/ some additives to reduce smog. (supposedly)
other than the sunburn/ tan, i hope you enjoyed your trip :)

  • gas is like 2.50 where i live ^^ and that is expenseive here ha ha.. wish i could pack my bags and just go >.<..x

    the one and only hitorkiribattousai~Lucy~

  • How dare you slander In-N-Out!  It's cuz you had it in the Bay Area.  The Bay Area is so wack.  Real In-N-Out hamburgers come from Los Angeles.

  • Holy cows, In-n-outs are amazing, as many people have said before me. Haha, I like how that's my first reaction to your post. And I want to backpack too. *sigh*

  • i just got my passport, so if you go, i'm going with you!!! =)

  • I've spent the last year and change traveling the world. It's overrated.

And wth? You'd prefer a Whopper to In-N-Out? Da weirdness!

  • cool. you were in my area. did you know that there are people who have never left the borders of san francisco's chinatown since they were born?

  • I was RIGHT UP THE STREET FROM YOU! ;)

Westfield - San Francisco; it's the biggest shopping center/mall west of the Mississippi. literally.

and yes, $3.77, if not higher in some places for gas. hehe that's why I roll in shoes and a backpack a lot. owning a car like mine has disadvantages.

as for In-n-Out...you didn't get to order it in the way people who are familiar with the chain order it. those who know don't order from the menu. personally, I order a 3x3, animal style, with raw onions, no spread, with mustard, cut in half (yes, they even cut it in half for you). if I'm cutting out simple sugars for the day, I'll order all of the above, but add protein style. it's just messy to eat. then fries have to be animal fries. Booyah! now that's an order. ;)
