i'm having a potluck at work tomorrow.. my coworkers kept insisting that i 'make and bring one of my special asian dishes'.. pft.. you know what that means.

so after contemplating for the past few days on what to bring.. it hit me.. duh.....

i realize it's upside down.. i took it with my phone so bear with me..

can you see the grease glistening? haha.. i must have used at least half a gallon of vegetable oil, at least half a cup of MSG.. and 2 cans of spam.. imagine what eating this would do to your arteries..

do you think people will be reluctant to eat this if they see that the cook herself won't even touch it?

Guy friend (we 'dated' at one point.. years later, we're friends) texts me this morning..

'I don't understand how girls can sleep with someone they don't want to be with?'

'It happens..' I replied.

I wonder the same thing about guys..

Is it wrong of me to use the handicap shower stall at the gym? I just like how it has the removeable head..

Nyc was a disappointment.. overpriced and overhyped.. the only club we checked out had a $30 entrance fee! Webster hall.. Ugh. I should've just gone to Japan what that time and money.. or checked LA out with my sister.. maybe i should follow her there.. I can finally understand why there are so many depressed people in Seattle.. Dc was awesome though... probably cuz my sister met me there.. since my company in Nyc did kinda.. suck.

There are only 3 out of 9 people from my team here today... including me... I'm boredddddd..

my black coworker strolled into my cubicle this afternoon..

"hey angie.. wow, you know.. i'm sorry.. i know how you all feel".. she had a sincere look of pity fixed on her face..

"huh?" i had no idea where that came from..

"you know.. asians are now the new blacks".. she empathized..

i probed.. not quite understanding..

apparently, since we now have a black president, people can no longer discriminate/mistreat black people.. so they are directing their racism and hatred towards asians.

i never knew - thanks for the heads up though. *thumbs up*

is anyone out there familiar with atlantic city?? i guess from nyc, i will be heading to ac.. caesars? taj mahal? harrah's? borgata? atlantic? tropicana? arghhh! which hotel/casino would you recommend? the borgata appears to be a tad bit pricey.. hmmm.. best poker tables? most action? poppin casino? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. please message, thanks.

on our drive up to whistler......

this was one of the exits off the main freeway...

here, we got cut off by this idiot..... my friend's 4 wheel drive spun out of control and we ended up facing the opposite direction on the freeway. it was so scary.... luckily, i-5 was pretty empty so we didn't crash into anyone. we immediately took the next exit and headed back home. everyone is stuck at the airport.. flights to and from seattle are canceled right now. never seen it this bad...

how do you cure a cheap guy (who makes good money)? is it even possible?......

would a guy be offended if you approached him about this? how do you even begin a conversation regarding this subject? everything else about the relationship is great.. everything about him, you like.. but the two are getting pretty serious at this point.. what to do.....?
