'manorexia'
i did a crapload of those thigh press thingys yesterday. i'm so sore.. you should have seen my pathetic attempt to get out of bed this morning. i woke up all early to go running.. but my legs weren't having it. =/ doubletime tonight. breakfast: half a cucumber, 2 tsp "organic" smoked jalapeno and garlic hummus. scrumptious. this huge chick at my work recently turned vegetarian.. she's lost 12 pounds. i don't think she exercises either. !!! there's no way i could give up meat though.. no way. i am trying to eliminate carbs out of my diet though.. gradually..
did anyone else see that story on inside edition last night.. the 92 pound man. go look at those pics. good gracious.. he was once a model.. a good lookin one, too. now he's all emaciated.. nothing but bones. wtf is wrong with him?? i have no sympathy whatsoever, what's the difference between an anorexic and a drug addict? nada. they made their own bed. i'm trying to lose weight and all.. but there is no way i'd allow myself to hit such extremes.
i need some new running shoes.. i currently use nike shox.. and they're not as comfortable as they should be.. any suggestions?

Asics Gel Kayanos... Best damn shoes ive ever had... I'm on my 3rd pair which only get replaced after they get filthy... They've got like hundreds of miles on them each and they are still in top condition
ahhh, the day after a killer work out penguin walk. i remember it well.;)
Man I def dont miss the pain
Saucony I heard is good.
puma mesh flats.
if you find a red mango, give that a shot first before pink berry.
new balances...they measure the way your heel slides to the left or right to compensate.
Good pair of running shoes...life saver. If you really want a good running workout, run on grass. The uneven grass will give your legs hell, and the shock absorbsion really helps out over the long distances.
carbs are alright, as long as they're simple carbs.
this better not turn into one of those xanga blogs that lists what you eat and how many calories you take in every day.
you give up meat and we're not friends anymore dammit... lol..
I second the recommendation for the ASICS GEL Kayanos. Try them out for a run and your feet will thank you.
saucony all the way. all of my running shoes are saucony. the thing is, you have to be "fitted" by someone who really knows what they're doing and would even watch your gait. do you pronate? supinate? do you need stability? cushion? arch support?
wow...i wonder if i'll end up like him...ya know since im model status and all...buahahaha
