Love is the realization that someone else's existence is more important than your own. Don't you read my entries anymore?
you will know when you see me.
that's a good question.
when u do, u won't have to ask.
i both agree and disagree with the above. love's a gradient. you can love a lot, you can love a little...you can say i love you and mean it at month 3, but 50 years later, you love even more, but differently. since this is starting to sound like a dr. seuss book, i should continue by saying, it's like asking what's the best tasting strawberry you've ever had. you think it's the best, until you're driving down the road and there's some shitty little stand selling strawberries, and you taste and even better one. i thought i was in love in 8th grade. who's to say i wasn't? i guess i have a wide definition of love. when i feel like saying it, i say it. but i've loved some much more than others.
when i explode all over her face.
When you love the best and worst parts of them. Didn't you read my post, silly girl? Haha! But seriously... You can't define when you love someone, you just do. Whether that love is good for you, well, that's another issue.
Didn't you see that part in The Matrix when The Oracle explains it?
how do i know? when i come home from a hard day's work, sit down to watch the Yankee game, scratch my balls, fart & burp while drinking my beer & checking my Xanga, & my girl still wants to have sex with me that night & make me a peanut butter & jelly sandwich the next morning, then i know i'm in love.
Everyone should just not try to answer this question : )
No answers. No one knows.
There isn't any real answer, but this is the closest I can get to one:
You aren't just thinking about them or what to do with them, you're thinking about what you can do for them to make their lives easier/better/happier. You become more concerned for their general well-being, and often put those needs before your own.
And you do it without expecting anything in return. Your satisfaction is simply in seeing that they are happy and well.
when you are willing to give up things unconditionally.
yep, you just know.
if you have to question it, chance are, you're not in love
When you realize you do things for them that you wouldnt do yourself
when u take away the sex and you're still thinking about them all the time
no idea.
You just know.
you know when you no longer care about the consequences
if they have ugly feet and you can still call them the next day.
When u think of them all the time.
the "love" you are asking about is a made up term concocted by the entertainment industry. real love is more general and should have nothing to do with hanky panky (or more like it should be independent of intimacy/ lustfullness)
of course, "if you have to ask, then you're not in love" is the standard definition of "love" that you are looking for
